En Burdeos se organizó un Festival de ajedrez con tres
torneos abiertos. Máximo López triunfó en el torneo B
y lo hizo con autoridad a pesar de que el camino no fue
sencillo: a pesar de jugarse bajo el sistema suizo, el
rival peor clasificado al que se enfrentó ocupó el
13er lugar. En el Open A, ganado por Klaus Darga,
participaron varios GM y MI de renombre como O'Kelly,
Matanovic, Bilek, Gheorghiu o Tringov. |
